Cybersecurity for Canadian businesses

Sharp has partnered with SKADI Cyber Defense to bring autonomous cybersecurity to Canadian businesses

Cyber threats are one of the most pressing risks facing Canadian businesses today. From ransomware to data theft, the consequences of a breach go well beyond financial loss. They affect your clients, your reputation, and your ability to operate.

Sharp has partnered with SKADI Cyber Defense Corporation to offer Frostbow™ to our customers. Frostbow is an autonomous cybersecurity platform that monitors your environment, detects threats, and responds to them, around the clock, without requiring a dedicated security team. It is enterprise-grade protection built for businesses of every size.

Cyber threats are no longer a problem for large enterprises only

The number and sophistication of cyberattacks has grown significantly in recent years. Attackers now use automated tools that can target thousands of businesses at once, regardless of size or industry. The average Canadian small or mid-sized business is a target because of the data it holds, not because of who it is.

A single breach can mean weeks of downtime, regulatory obligations, client notification requirements, and costs that most small businesses are not prepared to absorb. The good news is that the right protection is now accessible and affordable, without needing to build a security team from scratch.

Frostbow™ never sleeps,
so your team can

Frostbow™ is an autonomous cybersecurity platform. It connects to your existing technology, learns what normal activity looks like in your environment, and responds immediately when something anomalous appears, day or night, without human intervention.

Frostbow runs on Ontological AI, a class of AI proprietary to SKADI Cyber Defense. Unlike traditional security tools that match events to known patterns, Frostbow understands why something is a threat, not just that it looks unusual. When a threat is confirmed, it acts in seconds: blocking connections, isolating affected devices, revoking compromised credentials. Your team receives a plain-language report of what happened and what was done. No technical background required.

How it works:

Deploy in days, not months

Frostbow works as a complete standalone security platform, or layers on top of what you already have. No rip-and-replace. Most organizations are fully operational within two to four weeks.

Learns your environment

Frostbow observes your network, your users, and your normal activity patterns. It builds a baseline specific to your business, not a generic template.

Mitigates threats

When an anomaly appears, Frostbow investigates and responds autonomously. 99.6% of alerts are resolved without human involvement. Your team is only brought in when a situation genuinely requires a decision.

If your organization handles sensitive information, Frostbow is built for you

Frostbow is built for organizations that handle sensitive data and cannot afford the cost or complexity of a traditional security team. If your business operates during regular business hours, the period your network is most vulnerable is the time when no one is watching.

Sharp customers across a range of industries rely on Frostbow for continuous, autonomous protection.

Project files, supplier contracts, and payment information are more valuable than most operators realize. A breach can delay projects, compromise bids, and expose client relationships built over years.

Patient records are among the most targeted data in any sector. Downtime in a clinical environment directly affects patient care.

Technology Icon

Technology

Technology companies hold intellectual property, client data, and system access that makes them attractive targets. A compromise can affect not just the business, but every client and partner connected to it.

Retail & Hospitality Icon

Retail and hospitality

Customer payment data, booking records, and loyalty program information are high-value targets. Peak periods bring the highest transaction volumes and the most stretched teams, which is exactly when attackers strike.

Legal & Professional Services Icon

Client files, contracts, and correspondence are high-value targets. A breach carries confidentiality implications beyond the financial cost.

Financial Services & Insurance Icon

Financial services and insurance

Sensitive client financial data, strict compliance obligations, and after-hours exposure make this sector a consistent target.

Not for Profit Icon

Non-profits

Non-profits handle donor information, financial records, and often sensitive client data from the communities they serve. Limited IT resources make them an easy target and recovery from a breach can threaten the organization’s ability to operate.

The cost of doing nothing has never been higher

Most small and mid-sized businesses have basic security or antivirus software in place. What most do not have is protection that works after hours, on weekends, and during the moments when no one is watching, because that is when most attacks happen. Frostbow closes that gap.

FAQs

About Frostbow

What is Frostbow?

Frostbow is an autonomous cybersecurity platform. It watches everything connected to your network, detects threats using AI, and responds to them automatically — without needing a human analyst to review each alert first. Most security tools send you alerts. Frostbow acts on them.

No. That is exactly the point. Frostbow was built for businesses that do not have a security team. SKADI operates Frostbow on your behalf — the monitoring, detection, and response all happen automatically. Your team gets notified when something important happens, with full context, not just an alarm.
Most SMB environments are fully deployed and operational the same day. SKADI’s team handles all setup and onboarding. Frostbow connects to your existing network and starts monitoring immediately.
Yes. Frostbow is designed to layer on top of existing tools — including Microsoft Sentinel, antivirus platforms, and other security software. If you have nothing in place, it works standalone from day one.
In Canada. SKADI is a Canadian company, and your data stays in Canadian jurisdiction. There is no exposure to US CLOUD Act reach or cross-border data transfer risks — a genuine differentiator from most enterprise security platforms.

Buying and Pricing

How is Frostbow priced?

Pricing is per endpoint per month — an endpoint is any device connected to your network (laptop, desktop, server). Your Sharp representative will provide a personalized quote based on your endpoint count. Every client gets the full platform — there are no tiered feature restrictions.

No long-term contracts. Frostbow is billed monthly. You are protected because the service works — not because you are locked in.

Count the computers, laptops, and servers in your business. Your Sharp rep can help you do a quick count during a discovery conversation. A rough estimate is fine to get started.

Your Sharp representative is your first point of contact for any questions. For technical matters, your rep coordinates directly with the SKADI team or you can email directly at sharpcanadasolutions@sharp.ca. You do not need to manage multiple vendor relationships — Sharp handles it.

Security and Compliance

Will Frostbow help us with our cyber insurance?

Yes. Cyber insurers increasingly require proof of active monitoring and incident response. Frostbow generates a complete audit trail of every threat detected and every action taken — with a full reasoning log. This documentation is exactly what insurers ask for at renewal, and many clients see premium reductions after deploying.

Frostbow’s Canadian data sovereignty posture and breach notification capabilities are designed to support PIPEDA compliance. SKADI maintains all processing within Canadian jurisdiction and provides breach notification documentation within the 72-hour window required under PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws.

For 99.6% of threats, Frostbow acts autonomously — isolating the affected device, blocking malicious connections, revoking compromised credentials — all within about 15 seconds. The business owner receives a notification with full context. For the 0.4% that require human judgment, SKADI’s security team is escalated to review and respond immediately.

Protect your business

Cyber threats continue to evolve, but protecting your business doesn’t have to be complicated. Sharp and SKADI Cyber Defense can help you assess your cybersecurity needs and identify a solution that’s right for your organization.
