Yes. The BP51 and BP71 models are built on the same engine platform as the previous BP50 and BP70 families. They share many options, parts, supplies, and maintenance items, making it easy to expand or refresh your fleet without disruption.
No. Because Series 2 uses common components and supplies with the previous generation, service teams and dealers can rely on familiar parts, toners, and maintenance kits. This continuity reduces complexity, lowers inventory costs, and keeps fleets easier to manage.
