In March 2018, Sharp launched System on Chip (SoC) Technology, which means monitors are ready out-of-the-box to be used as digital signage without the use of PC. SoC reduces the overall system cost, provides optimized performance, lower cost consumption, and ease of deployment and installation. The SoC controller is driven by the Arm\u00ae Cortex\u00ae-A17 quad-core processor (max. 1.8 GHz) with 2 GB memory and 8 GB storage.
