MISSISSAUGA, ON – DEC 11, 2024 – Sharp Electronics of Canada Ltd. proudly unveils the X Series, a brand-new line of professional-grade laser projectors setting a new benchmark for projection technology.

The XP-X171Q and XP-X141Q are the first models in this innovative lineup, delivering 4K Ultra High-Definition (UHD) resolution with up to 16,500 lumens of brightness. Built for diverse environments like corporate conference rooms, university lecture halls, museums, and live events, these projectors are engineered to excel –and are available in sleek black and white finishes to suit any professional setting.

Reliable Performance Backed by Warranty

With reliability at the forefront, the X Series features laser light modules that provide over 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. Supported by Sharp’s industry-leading 5-year limited warranty, these projectors reduce operational costs and offer peace of mind while ensuring consistent, vibrant performance.

“The introduction of the X Series marks a significant step in our mission to deliver cutting-edge solutions for demanding professional environments,” said Rolland Manger, Senior Director of Marketing & Business Planning, Sharp Electronics of Canada Ltd. “These projectors are designed to provide precision, flexibility, and reliability in settings ranging from boardrooms and classrooms to dynamic live events.”

Unmatched Flexibility for Complex Installations
The X Series offers exceptional versatility for complex installations. Six interchangeable lenses accommodate projection distances from just over 1 metre to 43 metres, while 360° orientation and portrait mode ensure compatibility with various setups, including creative displays. For larger screens or high-ambient-light conditions, stacking and edge-blending features allow users to combine multiple devices, increasing brightness to an impressive 66,000 lumens.
Sharp has also integrated advanced connectivity tools into the X Series to simplify installation and enhance precision. HDBaseT technology streamlines setups with a single cable for video, audio, and control, while geometric correction enables seamless alignment on curved walls, cylinders, or other unconventional surfaces.

Elevated Visuals with Superior Specifications
With a brightness of 16,500 lumens for the XP-X171Q and 13,500 lumens for the XP-X141Q, these projectors also feature an impressive contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 for vibrant colours and deep blacks. Their IP6X-certified sealed optical engines ensure reliable performance even in dusty environments, minimizing maintenance needs.

With their combination of advanced technology, sleek design, and robust performance, the XP-X171Q and XP-X141Q are ready to redefine professional projection in Canada. Offering innovation, reliability, and sustainability, these projectors are poised to become the go-to solution for businesses and institutions nationwide.
