Sharp Canada Launches New Multifunction Printers Designed For The Modern Office

Today’s multifunction printers (MFPs) are much more than simple print and scan devices. Modern MFPs support the workflows of on-the-go organizations, allowing users to copy, print, scan and fax from multiple devices and the cloud.

Sharp Electronics of Canada is announcing the launch of two A4 Monochrome Advanced Series Desktop MFP models with copy, scan, print and fax capabilities, as well as wireless, advanced networking and cloud features to support complex office workflows.

The all new Sharp MXB376W and MXB476W are built using Sharp’s latest controller technology and share Sharp’s award winning, easy-to-use touchscreen display. These new models also offer greater cloud integration, leading edge security and much more.

Both models support jobs from PCs, smartphones and tablets, making them an ideal solution in high productivity workplace environments. The MFPs offer Email Connect and Cloud Connect features. Email Connect scans to email and can be seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Exchange/Office 365 and Gmail user accounts, making it simple to identify the sender of scanned files. Cloud Connect allows user to scan to and print from Microsoft OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Google Drive, Box and Dropbox. Sharp’s new Application Portal allows administrators to add new apps right from the MFP’s touchscreen panel.

The MXB376W and MXB476W easily integrate with today’s complex network environments and offer quick access to an expanded list of cloud services that include Box and Dropbox. Additionally, Adobe Embedded Print Engine technology enables users to direct print PDF files from a variety of sources with greater performance and rendering accuracy.

When it comes to security, Sharp’s new MXB376W and MXB476W have businesses covered with leading-edge security features, such as firmware attack prevention and a self-recovery capability, which can identify a malicious intrusion and restore the machine firmware to its original state. An application whitelisting feature helps protect the machine’s file system from unauthorized access. Additionally, administrators can centrally manage select settings at the device using Active Directory® Group Policy.

The new MFPs are available immediately across Canada.
